Maths clubs raise the profile of maths as a subject, they increase engagement and show children that maths can be playful, exciting, and full of wonder. Holding a weekly maths club lets us take off our curriculum jacket and work more informally with children while engaging them in a variety of activities for mathematical sense-making.
Drishti Club has been designed keeping in mind the basic needs of a child for presentation skills, English communication skills, public speaking ,dramatic Art and personality development. This club helps a child gain confidence, improve behaviour, develop a healthy physique and a positive attitude in life. Properly dressed and well groomed person is always liked by the peers. Personality is made up of some characteristic pattern of thoughts, feelings and behaviour that make one person different from others.
One of the most popular club among the students of classes VI to IX. This club includes dance, drama & music for the budding artists. All the students are able to put forward their hidden talent and become confident for the stage presence. They enjoy in the club and at the same time are able to enhance their personality.
The term ‘Eureka’ means ‘I found it’. Indeed that is the motive of the Satdham family. The students are motivated to explore the fullest and to inculcate scientific temper among them, they are encouraged and equipped in the applications of the Science and to create an interface with society. All the students acquire basic knowledge of Science; they develop a scientific way of learning as well. The focus lies in creating an awareness of and concern for scientific issues in personal, social, environmental and technical contexts.
It was done with a motive of creating awareness and participation in Heritage related activities among the students .The Heritage Club programmes are designed so as to involve students in various activities geared towards Heritage awareness and education for learning Craft, museum education, conservation at home and at school, heritage walk for school students, rural heritage education and skill development, making film on cultural heritage.
Interact and social responsibilities club has been started in satdham vidyamandir to get together like minded students who are interested in working for society. The main objectives of this club are to create an environment where in students will embrace responsibilities to serve the community and society. It shares the social responsibilities and further invites everyone to participate actively. The aim of the club is to sensitise future best engineers’, technocrats and scientists towards privileged and challenged class.
